The McCulloch 22-inch, 3.2 amp electric hedge trimmer is McCulloch's longest, most powerful electric hedge trimmer, meaning you can take this into even the densest hedges with confidence. Its steel alloy blades operate at up to 3,200 strokes per minute, allowing you to hack through branches with diameters as thick as 1/2-inch. But McCulloch didn't focus solely on power and forget comfort. The trimmer features a lightweight design for easy handling, full wrap-around front handle for comfort, and a dual action blade for reducing vibration-which really helps to prevent tired, sore arms. McCulloch backs their trimmer with a 2-year limited warranty.--Jeffrey Dalto

 "Very Good Trimmer" 2008-11-18
By P. Schmidt
I have had this trimmer for a few years and it runs very well. It is powerful enough for my occasional trimming around the yard. My only issue is the safety button in the handle that you must press for the machine to run--it's a little awkward for me but it's not bad enough to prevent me from recommending. Good tool for a good price.

 " McCulloch Hedge Trimmer" 2005-08-26
By J. Poecze (Cleveland, Ohio)
Because of its light weight I find this product easy to handle.

Blades are sturdy and cut through thicker branches with ease.

I am pleased with it.

"Should have paid attention to reviews before purchasing!" 2006-10-17
By Charles R. Atwater (Galesburg, IL USA)
Like the first review said this trimmer does not cut off clean. You end up with chewed off instead of cut trimmings. My old trimmer (not a B & D)

was 100% better. I am sorry that I purchased this inferior trimmer.

 "Chews & splinters" 2005-07-31
By Eolian (Indy)
"Trimmer" saws and chews (splinters)its way through shrubs, bushes, etc. No one can say it cuts. It does successfully chew to length.

 "Dual-Action works" 2005-07-29
By P. Chiang (Santa Clara, CA USA)
Dual-Action works much more efficiently than my old one, which is the 'single action' type.

"Hedge Trimming Hedge Hog with pro results" 2005-07-23
By Raymond Mengel (Bay Point CA)
The bladges are much better than other products on the market. The blade can accomodate wider branches. This product has a blade cover that protect the trimmer's blade. There is a safety switch and a continious cut switch for larger jobs.

I am more than satisfied.

 "Performs great!" 2008-11-22
By W. FRAZER
I only wish that I would have purchased this handy lawn and garden tool a year or two sooner. Cuts easily through thicker hedges/bushes than I expected. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

 "worx hedge trimmer" 2007-10-24
By Bill (south carolina)
Worx 22" Hedge Trimmer. Don't buy this product. When I went to use this product, one of the electric switches was defective so the product would not work and had to be returned. Doesn't speak well for the manufacturer's quality control. So I then purchased a competitive Black & Decker trimmer that performs perfectly.

 "Worx really works" 2007-10-18
By Michael D. Harris (Atlanta and Hilton Head Island)
This is an excellent and safe electric hedge trimmer which cuts "old" hedges cleanly and with little effort. The assembly was simple. The blade guard is a nice plus to keep the blade sharp bouncing in the garden cart. The extendable handle is also a plus for reaching without a ladder.

A great product at a very fair price send Amazon Prime is hard to beat!

Michael

"Good Trimmer for the Price" 2009-07-31
By S. Council (Chicago, IL)
I purchased this trimmer here from Amazon and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Not only does it seem durable but it cut through my shrubs with minimal effort. I also liked the fact that the trimmer comes with a plastic protective guard for the blades for safe and easy storage. All in all, a safe purchase you won't be disappointed with. Note that Amazon ships this in an oversized box but it arrived in 3 days (with free shipping).

 "Great Value Hedge Trimmer" 2009-07-04
By Joe H. Curtis (BURKESVILLE, KY. USA)
I do not have a lot of shrubbry to trim, therefore I think these will last as long as I need them. They work GREAT, especially for the price. I like the way they are made, especially the built in handle, the provision made to hold the extension cord to the trimmer. I give them a 5 star rating!!
