 "Very Good Trimmer" 2008-11-18
By P. Schmidt
I have had this trimmer for a few years and it runs very well. It is powerful enough for my occasional trimming around the yard. My only issue is the safety button in the handle that you must press for the machine to run--it's a little awkward for me but it's not bad enough to prevent me from recommending. Good tool for a good price.

 " McCulloch Hedge Trimmer" 2005-08-26
By J. Poecze (Cleveland, Ohio)
Because of its light weight I find this product easy to handle.

Blades are sturdy and cut through thicker branches with ease.

I am pleased with it.

 "Cheap, cheap, cheap" 2007-01-10

Not much money, will last one season maybe two. Great buy for the money so I rate it 3 stars.

 "McCulloch 2.6 amp/16" Hedge Trimmer" 2006-06-30
By Albert P. Zelenak (MI, USA)
Impressed with quality and balance of this machine. Have looked at other makes but in my opinion this is superior. Really exceeded my expectations.

 "Nice Hedge Trimmer" 2006-03-30
By John C. Johnson (Joplin Missouri)
I purchased the less powerful one and it works just fine. I trimmed up some holley bushes, limbs up to half inch, and the machine cut them just fine. I modified an old extension cord I had to make it work. It does not come with a cord. The shipping was free and no tax. I will not use it a lot so I guess it will last. The quality seems fine. Just keep it oiled and enjoy.

 "Great small Saw" 2009-09-10
By Suleh (Albuquerque, NM)
I used this saw to cut both wet and dry tree branches up to 10" thick with no problems. The saw easily attaches/detaches from the pole so that you can use it according to your preferences. Also, it is light and very powerful - I did not experience any stalling.

Read the user manual that comes with it, and use the appropriate chain saw oil and you will not have any problems with this chain saw. This is a great tool for any homeowner with trees around the property and I strongly reccomend it.

"A Bit Heavy, But Works Great" 2009-08-12
By Nelson (Gaithersburg, MD USA)
I found this pole saw to be a little heavy, especially at full extension. I needed to take a short break after cutting two or three limbs with the saw fully extended. However, I would recommend to nearly anyone because it is so veratile and cuts quickly. Mounting and dis-mounting the saw from the pole is easy, and takes less than 5 minute. Using the saw without the pole is a pleasure. It seems to be well designed and well made, so I expect it to last. Time will tell. I would buy it again.

 "Pole Saw" 2009-06-18
By Jack E. Michel
The pole saw worked well right out of the box. It's light and cuts well.

The variable length pole make trimming trees fun. A great prduct!

 "Really good tool" 2009-06-09
By C. Bowers (Massachusetts)
I have had some dead limbs on a large oak that I have wanted to remove for a couple of years. They were just too high and big to reach and cut with my manual pole pruner and operating the pole pruner from a ladder is really hard. Starting a gas powered chain saw from a ladder is near impossible and very dangerous. I thought about hiring it done but the cost doing that was more than I wanted to pay and I am a real do it myself type. I saw this tool and figured that it would probably do the job. It did - beyond my expectations. It is very controllable, has plenty of power and the ability to use it without the pole is a nice feature. The manual oiler, push the cap, worked fine although it is easy to overoil. It is also easy to not close the cap tightly. This is a well made tool that functions as advertised. As with all of the pole saws the saw end is a bit weighty fully extended and the advertised reach is including your reach. A good friend once told me to never buy a cheap tool because they last forever and never satisfy. I would rank this saw as a really good tool.

"One of my best purchases ever" 2009-05-18
By M. Campbell (Phoenix, AZ)
This is one of the best tools I've ever purchased. I wanted a pole saw that wasn't a commercial tool but could handle a lot of work. I've trimmed numerous trees in my yard and even removed an established tree with a 12" trunk with ease. What used to take me days, takes me hours. The saw is easy to operate and performs well. I've had no problems with the chain as many people comment with other saws. I will agree that it is a bit awkward to reach some of the high branches due to the weight of the saw being at the far end of the pole. Also, when you want to switch between just the chain saw and the pole saw, it takes a few minutes to take apart and put together. However, these minor inconveniences are worth the time and effort savings.

"Agree with the previous review" 2008-06-28
By Vicki Moss (Reno, NV United States)
This is a poor design. I was excited to see 4 cutting strings, but in order to replace the lines you must take it apart and fit the strings into the little spaces. If they fit without using tools it might have been worth the time to replace them. Spend your money elsewhere.

 "Powerful, but unuseable." 2008-06-16
By Al (Santa Rosa Beach, FL United States)
The cutting line is made up of 4 pieces, each about 9" long. Each are threaded through a central hub so that eight 3" lines stick out from under the weedeater. The hub spins & the lines cut the grass. When they break off they have to be replaced. The replacement is either to buy the line, and cut each piece & thread them through the hub or buy additional hubs. Since they break when they hit anything it would take forever to replace the line or be expensive to replace the hub.

I returned it to Amazon who refunded my money without any problem.

Would NOT recommend buying this unit!!

 "Switch" 2006-11-10
By A. M. Peterson
The trimmer itself is fine, but it has the worst engineered dual safety switch I have ever encountered. The awitch in the upper handle is so bad that I sent the trimmer back thinking that it was faulty.
