Tame that tree with Remington's Branch Wizard electric pole pruner. At a mere 6-1/2 pounds, it weighs up to 50 percent less than manual pole pruners. Powered by a hearty 6 Amp motor, the saw can cut branches up to 6 inches thick, while its nearly 7-foot-long fiberglass pole offers plenty of reach. Operation is quick and easy, as is trimming in tight spaces. Other features include a low-kickback chain, a 6-inch guide bar, a non-slip grip, a trigger lock to prevent accidental starting, and instant start with no pull cords. It's also quieter than gas-powered models. The tool comes with a 1-year warranty.

Perfect product for cutting small branches and general yard trim work. Low cost but rugged enough to do a 3 inch branch. Plus, light weigh and easy to handle for an old guy like me.

What a great improvement over the manual pruner. I saved $15.00 over the same product purchased locally.

"GREAT !!! for the little time that it works" 2009-07-08

Avoid this product if you plan on using it for more than a couple hours. Remington went bankrupt and the new company doesn't honor their warranties. Also, the internal drive gears are plastic and will fail after a short period of time and can not be replaced. [...]

"Owned the Branch Wizard for several years now and it has paid for itself many times over!" 2009-06-05
By rugby Rod
This is really an excellent light duty chain saw that I have owned for several years now. I just lopped a few branches off my neighbor's messy magnolia tree (4" to 5" thick branches) last week and used it on some 1" to 2" inch thick ground branches on some bushes in front of my house this morning. (SEE PHOTO). A lot of people review a product a few days after they get it. That's ok but this review comes after several years of ownership and not a new chain on the saw. The Remington Branch Wizard 6" 6 Amp Pole Saw does a great job on bush branches, fruit tree branches and small to medium tree branches. However if you have a lot of heavy duty thick branch type work I would recommend a heavier saw.

 "Trimming verstility" 2009-03-29
By K. Gordon (Shenandoah Valley, Virginia)
This lightweight chain saw/pole saw can be used to trim branches using the easily extending pole as well as cut to cut wood at ground level using only the saw. No gas/oil mix or clumsy pull-start to battle. Electric powered, smooth running. You don't have to be a lumberjack to use this handy garden/orchard tool. Great value for the money!
