 "Works Great!!" 2009-08-17
By G Man (Hastings)
Just the tool for the job. Perfect for homeowner with just enough green stuff around property to trim. Cordless is excellent--battery still running after triming two thorn bushes, blueberry bush and dogwood. I have the lawn trimmer which I liked so I bought the hedge trimmer. I like that I can exchange batteries. I'm thinking about getting the blower--its great not having to drag out an extesion cords. Saves time and you enjoy doing the job.

 "Hand held trimmer" 2009-07-10
By Joan Croghan (Annapolis, MD)
I have 4 bushes in the front of my house (all boxwoods) that need a good trim approximately 3-4 times in the growing season. I had been using an electric Black & Decker trimmer for 30+ years and fighting that darn cord constantly. First thing, the Worx cordless trimmer came in its original box and I was a bit concerned opening it up that something would be broken. Everything was intact. The trimmer does what it is supposed to and the charge more than lasted long enough for what I needed it for. It is not too heavy for me and I am able to maneuver it all around. I am pleased with the purchase.

 "ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!" 2009-07-08
By CMC (Tennessee)
The WORX product is alright, although the mower arrived with minor damage (poor packaging). The customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with.

After purchasing my WORX mower and grass trimmer through Amazon, I eventually needed to purchase more trimmer spools and opted for the "free" spools program (paying only shipping) offered directly from WORX customer service. In the same order, I also purchased a device from them that allows you to store the grass trimmer and it's battery on the wall of your garage.

After being charged as expected, two weeks past with no product. I contacted their customer service and was informed both products (spools and trimmer device) were on back-order but would ship in 24 to 48 hours. After another week passed, I called again and was transferred to a supervisor who sounded like he was reading from a script. He admitted the spools had not been on back-order but could not explain why I was lied to previously. He could not tell me when my order would ship saying that it was "in process". He then offered a to wave the shipping cost as though that would fix not being able to use my $100 WORX grass trimmer without the spools they sell. This supervisor then assured me he would forward my "case" to upper management and I would receive a call within the 72 business hours. It's been eight days and I've not received a call. It's been over 4 weeks since I placed the order.

Though it's for a small amount of money (less than $25), WORX customer service has essentially stolen my money and falsely advertised in selling me a product I can't obtain and they won't (or as this supervisor said to me, he "can't") tell me why!

I assume others are receiving the items they purchase from WORX. I have no idea why they can't solve my issue. I'm sincerely amazed at the incompetence and inability of this company's customer service and therefore highly recommend all consumers consider purchasing lawn products from one of WORX's competitors instead (try Black and Decker). If this is any example of how WORX is willing to do business then they deserve to go out of business. Buyer beware.

When I was thinking about buying a trimmer I researched all trimmers. Worx had the best reviews. I made the purchase, It was easy to put together, I charged the battery over night, worked about 25 minutes (continous running) before the battery needed recharging. I had to wait for the battery to cool first. After the recharge, I cut some limbs 1/2 inch in diameter. I am well pleased with my hedge trimmer.
