I am very happy with my Toro weed trimmer. I looked into replacing the battery in my old one but I got this trimmer from amazon cheaper than a new battery. Little slow on delivery but acceptable.

I purchased the toro weed eater...its ok for little jobs, but it certainly doesnt do the bigger, more lengthier jobs.. I would recommend getting this one if you only have grass that is out of place, or thin weeds, but for the thicker, more hardier weeds, get a bigger, gas powered kind. I got teed off numerous times as the spool wound itself into a tangle and I had to stop, open the damn thing and fix it,and the battery doesnt last very long either..Save your sheckles and get a more powerful weed eater, or hire your neighbor for bigger jobs.

We wanted a starter trimmer; this fit the bill. It was cheap, wasn't too complicated, and did its job. Perhaps a big heavy but small and not bulky. Contrary to what others thought, the battery lasted long enough for 2-3 mowing cycles (we trim only around the edge of our rock landscaping and deck, so probably wasn't much). I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

I love my Toro Electric Trimmer. It is lightweight, so doesn't wear me out carrying it around, and it gets the job done!

The Toro weed trimmer is a nice light weight trimmer. The battery holds a very good charge, lasting plenty of time. The only negative that I can find, so far, is the trength of the line seems to be week for stronger weeds but for light grass it works well. Well worth the money.
